A CEREC restoration isn’t just convenient, it is also healthy. With CEREC, your dentist can use strong, tooth coloured ceramic materials to restore your teeth to their natural strength, beauty and function. These materials closely match the composition of natural tooth structure. The materials are chemically bonded to your tooth, so your dentist can save as much healthy tooth as possible while providing you with a dental restoration that provides strength.
With CEREC technology, your dentist can restore damaged teeth with biocompatible, tooth-coloured materials in a single appointment. Worldwide, a CEREC restoration is placed every 20 seconds. With a history of nearly 20 years, this equipment has helped dentists place over 6 million restorations. Using metal free materials that are closest to your natural enamel, CEREC gives you the highest quality restorative care. Ask your dentist today about single visit restorative care!

We provide a variety of Dental restoration treatments so that patients can stay in excellent oral health. We can complete restorations in a way that restores the functionality and appearance your teeth. This is important for ensuring that once the dental work is complete, no one can tell your tooth was ever damaged, chipped, or cracked.
The Procedure
The Procedure
Your dentist must first decide that a CEREC restoration is right for you. If your tooth has been endo-treated (root canal), heavily restored, or broken, a CEREC may be the best option for you. Not every tooth is a candidate for this procedure.
Once the CEREC has been decided, the dentist will administer anesthetic and prepare your tooth for the restoration, removing decayed and weakened tooth tissue.
Then, your dentist takes an Optical Impression of the prepared tooth. Next, the CEREC machine helps create the restoration for your tooth. Within a few minutes, the restoration is designed and the design data is sent to a separate milling machine located in our office.
About 20 minutes later, your all-ceramic, tooth-colored restoration is ready to be bonded into place. Your tooth is restored with no “temporary crown” or return trip necessary. All in one visit!
